<div class="IPBDescription">1.0 and 2.0</div> You have likely noticed the new stickied topic, Official Release Thread Version 2.0. After 2.0 is released, I'm going to update that thread one last time with any additional models that have since been posted to the 1.0 Release Thread. Then, I will lock and unsticky the 1.0 release thread, and open the 2.0 release thread.

I hope you all understand that there is no point in releasing 1.0-compatible models once 2.0 has released, so the new topic will be for 2.0-compatible models *only*.

Additionally, two points:

1) If there is a dead link in the 2.0 release thread (and I know there are several) <b>and you know of a working link</b>, please post it here or PM me.

2) If you convert a 1.0 model for 2.0 compatibility, post the updated model in the 2.0 release thread AND PM ME. I will remove the link to the 1.0 model, and replace it with a comment that it has been updated for 2.0.

    And what about models that are in the 1.0x release topic that are still compatable with 2.0? Do they just get forgotton about, left to drift in the depths of time?

    Until someone ports them over to the new anim sets.

    coil, have there been any changes in the model bones? New vertexes assigned? New parts on the models?

    I don't have time to test them all, but I will add an asterisk to any model in the 1.0 list that is 2.0-compatible. Again, PM me if you confirm that a 1.0 model is compatible with 2.0, and I will update the list.

    New animation sets:
    Marine and HA at the very least need new GL animations.

    Skulk is, I believe, unchanged, but all other aliens will need new animations.

    Chambers may have additional anims; I don't recall off-hand.

    I do not believe any of the skeletons or models have changed, so it will likely be a simple matter of recompiling for any model that borrows the default animations. Those with custom animations will require more work.

    yeha, i thought the skulk got some sort of new model with new animations? Also I read that the chambers will need new animations.

    I think 3rd-person reloads may have been lost along the way, unfortunately; not sure.

    The skulk received updated animations, but his attacks/movement have not changed and therefore no new animations are *needed*.
