The Fastest Way to kill for a Expert
More or less, I call this the Grim-Reaper fade.
Why? Cause a Fade is black, and this makes him a lot more like one.
Combos: Carapace, Celerity, Cloaking.
Reason for Cara: Duh. More HP. Its like Adrenilene(which I know thats spelled wrong, no idea how), because you have more time to live, resulting in enough to to get the SAME amount of energy. Just as long as you know how to Fade right.
Celerity: This combined with Blink makes you near impossible to get long-ranged kill. You get on top of the enemy in at most 2 seconds(as long as you know blink)
Cloaking: Just cause.
Try it- you'd be surprised just how good this Fade tends to be. GREAT hit-and run, so really, its perfect for 2.0

I use this combo often in 1.04!
This is a close combat fade's best combo
Its excellent for those swipe kills. With celerity you dont get that much hit and cara makes you tough enough.
The problem with this config is that you can run out of energy quickly, even if you only swipe for some time, so you gotta watch out you have enough for that blink-away. Also a downside you cant fire much acid rockets. So I wouldnt recommend fighting more than 3-4 good marines alone with this.
If you re facing a single HA/HMG Marine you have also good chances, at best when he s realoading
If see more than one, you re in trouble. If you wanna suicide, go ahead, I would wait for some backup first...
It would be awesome to have 2 cara-celerity and 2 cara/regen-adrenaline fades for some nice team action
They really need to make the blink animation different to swipe.
I figure using adren is heaps better if u want swipe kills as u can wave around with **** abandon without hoping for enuff energy to blink out. Also extremely usefull if u need to acid spam. Blinking is my favourite move for hit and run and just general combat. Altho i'd say most of my fade deaths were due to blinking into everything, but u learn where to and where not to blink eventually.
Ah well blink'll be changed in the next version so lets hope tis better.

I can't play adren Fade. I'm too used to the speed of Celerity and get killed. Actually, someone once asked me if I was using a speed hack, totally forgetting that Fades could sometimes have Celerity
Oke, in a serious way, I have never tried celerirty much for a fade, heh I use blink to close the straight line distances in an instant anyway, circle strafing HA, well might be handy, never had too serious a problem without using it (can be touch and go depending on his aim and my dodging) and find the added adren for multi attacks much handier (acid blink slash slash, rather than blink slash slash slash) lol but i wun say anymore untill I try it for real
