Let the comedy flooooooow
I don't expect this to be a spam fest....

But yeah, list you favourite parody videos you can download for free off the net (And are of course perfectly legal)

At the moment there are 4 different videos that are holding my attention.

Max Payne Hero: Basically it's a short 3:20min film by a film student as he takes on the guise of Max Payne taking some much needed revenge.... I won't spoil it too much, but it's got some damn cool special effects. Pretty cheesy when he goes berserk, but none-the-less an AWESOME video.

Red Vs. Blue: Blood Gulch Chronicles: Ahhhh RvB. The antics of two different squads set against each other during a lull in the war against the Covenant. The first few eps had me in stiches, but lately they've seem to have lost their touch.... oh well. Still highly recommended =D

Macintosh - Crash Different: Parody of the Mac ads. Pure. Comedy. GOLD

The Matrix XP: Matrix + Windows = hilarity ensues. The site contains the movie and a movie of the outtakes (Which are also fairly amusing)

Enjoy and discuss.

I haven't got links on these, they were broadcast on Mad TV in the states. I'm sure you can pick them up from some sort of P2P program.

Look for Kenny Rogers' Jackass (Parts 1 and 2), this is of course a parody of Jackass featuring Kenny Rogers, lol. Also in the Kenny Rogers parodies there's "Kenny's Ice Cream Parlor". Check these out, they're funny as hell.

Secondly, look for the Arnie parodies. The same guy who plays Kenny Rogers in the above. They're usually called things like "Arnold Schwarzenegger's Musical", "Arnie's new movie" and things like that. Basically search for anything with Arnie's name and Mad TV next to them.

Sorry i can't provide any links, but if you search for them you'll find they're absolutely blinding.

Mm... I guess RvB counts as a parody...

    All time favourite:

    Robin Hood: Men In Tights.

It was a favourite at my old school. Every after-exams-before-end-of-term or other excuse to waste time, it would inevitably be shown. I still love it. I can still quote the entire thing from start to finish (probably more accurately than I can quote The Matrix).

I haven't seen any of these and I won't right now because I'd downloading. But my favorite parody's are of Star Wars. One of them was shot from a 'Cops' perspective following the Storm Troopers. It's funny as hell trust me, the other is a completely 3d animated one. The main character's name is Chode and he is some kind of fat blubby tentacle head guy with spots on him. Other characters included are a woman named Six who contuinally asks Chode if he wants a handjob and rubs his head tentales. An android and Darth Bobo of the Dark Clown order. Trust me it's really good, look for them with Kazaa or something.

RvB rocks, even if you don't like Halo.

    Here's my contrabution:

3D Vs. Real-Life (15MB) - Its a few years old, but still quite funny. Full of foul language though, so be warned. Every FPS Player must see this at least once.

Video Computer System (7MB) - Inf, I can gurantee you'll absolutely LOVE this video. Its one of my personal favorites as well. Its not so much a parody as it is a tribute to the granddaddy of console system: The Atari 2600.

wow. I just got done watching the Max Payne Hero video. That is actually really damn good. Was a very cinematic and entertaining while also remaining very true to the game. An excellent short video any gamer should see at least once.

    Red vs. Blue!

"Simmons, get the Warthog." "You mean the Puma?" - My friend and I say that all the time during 4 player CTF torunaments in Halo, but the ignorant opponents think we're just retarded.

I once saw a Star Wars meets Clerks flash movie, about some Storm Trooper clerks at a conveinence store on the Death Star. One of them doesn't want to leave the store so he devises a plan to beef up security "...and more security equals more hungry people." "So what's the big threat?" "What if the Rebels got their hands on a few key blueprints..?"

That Max Payne: Hero movie wasn't exactly my thing (when he shoots that guy in the stomach the bullethole appears maybe 4 inches higher than where the gun was pointed). The guy looked nothing like Max Payne, and he was missing that Gulf-camo shirt he wears in the game! I'm waiting for the real Max Payne movie, though I haven't heard anything of it since like 2001.

"Dude, I knew you could pick up chicks in a tank!"

The Max Payne movie was definitely cool. I didn't mind that he didn't look exactly like Max Payne, seeing how Max Payne doesn't look like Max Payne anymore in Max Payne 2. However, I did feel that most of the time the guy in the movie was running around like a scared chicken with its head cut off, rather than doing the bullet time diving thing that Max Payne would rather do. Max Payne wouldn't jump into a room and run around in circles! He would blast in there and gun em all down - without getting shot! Where were the painkillers! Huh? HUH?!

I was also wondering where the painkillers were. There is supposed to be a rondom medicine cabinet every 10 feet! Where do these "parody-ers" get off? Next you're gonna tell me that the guy playing Max didn't look like he was constantly reliving the memory of walking in on his grandparents! I mean what the damn!

I was being a tad bit sarcastic. I liked the movie. However, I do feel a little more gunplay and a bit less running would have made it better.
