<div class="IPBDescription">And my PC still works!</div> Well there is a thunder storm here. Came in pretty quick.

A HUGE flash just went right over my house. I swear the ground shook 3 times! I felt it. Like the house was shaking. When I saw the flash, my moniter got all static and my speakers fuzzed.

But Im still alive, and so is my PC. I hope...
Im unplugging my PC until its over just to be safe. Thank god for my surge protector!
Just thought Id post this. It was really neat. From an odd perspective.

Lol, I know the fealing, I was trailing an extension cord from the school boiler room to the garage to wax skis, and then the thunder started....

Hmm, we just had a flash thunderstorm here in State College as well. As a warning, I would not trust a surge supressor against lightning. 99% of those things are useless when it comes to surges from lightning. If lightning can arc several thousand feet across the air (a good resistor) no 3 inch breaker circuit will stop it.

Anyone from an area with crappy weather will tell you that it's not "real weather" if you're not terrified for your life every now and then.

(I live in the Bay Area... yay mild climate!)
