I'm not sure why I decided to post this NOW...     No it makes that game have a balance between gameplay and realism.



    Good gameplay and good realism is what makes a good game. That's why these games that are insanely complicated because they try to be "realistic" aren't always the most fun to play. It's easy to say "let's add all this to the game.", but it's way harder to simplify it to the level where it can be played enjoyably.
