Cursor Issues

An odd, and annoying, problem:

You know how the colour of your cursor changes to make it visible against all colours of backgrounds? Well, mine stopped doing that, and it's making it very difficult to e.g. edit dark images (I tend to invert whatever I'm working on, just so I can see what I'm doing).

Now, although it's hardly important in the grand scheme of things, it's sufficiently annoying for me to want to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas what could have caused it? It's been this way for around a month now, and I'm pretty sure I haven't installed anything like new video drivers in that time period (and even if I had, they'd be the 44.03 dets I have on my other computer, whose pointers work fine).

Any help = virtual cookies and possible romantic encounters.

I think he means the text cursor.

If you're on Windows, there should be a Mouse section in the Control Panel. One of the tabs in there is for the cursor. Pick one that works on both backgrounds.
