Nope only the admins can deal with this sort of stuff, thier is a way to **** rambos off as comm tho, put a nice big guard solider waypoint on thier head as u cant see anything at all and cant shoot stright and the only way to get rid of it is to either rejoin the server or do *BALEETED* which is banned on alot of servers

Discussion of exploits is also banned a lot of places. Here, for one.

lol whoops its just that ive seen that posted so much as topic headings i thought it was ok

i did a quick search and its in 4 topic headings

You should really take up your query with the Operator of the current server, there isn't much here that can be done for you that wasn't just mentioned above. Perhaps you can post in the "Server Operators" forum? Maybe the Operator roams in there or someone who knows him/her does?

No, there is no in-game retribution for people like that other than to wait for the round to end, and join the team that they are not on. Some servers do have a kickvote plugin installed, but it is not included with 'vanilla' NS.

maybe they should think of implementing that... and sleepless just had a new plugin installed.. you type !admin <complaint> and it will get an IRC to come and help you out... just like !medic <reason> on IRC...

This isn't really a "new" idea. Many ServerOps have come up with methods of paging Operators via IRC through a Half-Life MOD. *pushes this into "Server Operators"

The problem with kickvotes is the "landslide" effect. I've experienced it in Tribes, and I've experienced it in NS. In NS, it goes this way: Someone shouts "OMG n00b comm, eject all!", and half the people there go "Oh, the comm sucks, begone!" and vote for an eject. *Boing*, comm's gone. Why is this bad? Because the people that voted didn't actually stop to consider that maybe the comm was doing fine and the guy who was calling for an eject was just a lamer. I'd REALLY hate seeing this happen with kicks as well. I've seen it in Tribes: Somebody is being really lame, shooting up our turrets and such, I call for a vote to kick him, guy is kicked. Guy returns, calls for vote to kick me, I am kicked. People simply are too preoccupied with the game to think deeply about stuff like this, so they vote without thought. If everybody would be as smart as me (hehe) and ONLY voted if they KNEW what was going on (i.e. why that vote was called for), we wouldn't have this problem. The other solution is to play on heavily adminned servers.

Some people just dont get it....
If you want something and you know you got good chances and good reasons of doing something with it, ask the comm nicely and try explaining what you gonna do. If you just go out screaming shotgun shotgun while the team needs res, you re just showing you re a complete noob. Asking for a shotgun to kill the gorge near his 3 defensive chambers near base is a good reason. Asking for a shotgun cause you like it and you wanna loose it after 10 secs is a bad reason. Change the server...

yes also a smaller point, the guy who invented the word people somehow messed up and switched 2 letters so it's written people even if it's pronounced pepole.

I think those people who plagues good games just because they think they are "mistreated" and coming from a horrible community (sorry to all those nicer CS players) they have a tradition to be horribly lame towards anything they regard as an insult. Try to explain to them that it isn't a good thing to do because of whatever reason. Might help.
