    Reminds me of how original PR blitz started out with the lerk animation in which we all waited like a day because after they'd uploaded it, the download was only available for FP Subscribers.

    Maybe... cause the guy making the commanders guide (check the beta forum) got permission from Flay to post the images once the PR blitz starts.

    Not bad. Argh, so many games on my list to finish. Going to be quite busy from now til the 31st.

    Hopefully everything is still on track in terms of beta testing. It's going to be such a different game. After 2 months of playing NS 2.0, I'm going to reinstall NS 1.0 and go "woah" in a very Keanu-esque way.

    All the maps strangely seem so big. No more of the claustrophobia ala Nancy or parts of Eclipse. Prob. to make way for onos. hehe

    Mineshaft=skulk's dream. Natural dirt (a first). Dark, but duh. there's that one res that's WAY out in the open.

    Veil=detail galore. Looks like a real ship straight outta star trek. Don't know why but LOTS of stairs. And cc is in little cubbie-hole, aww, how cute, but how's that 4 base strats.

    Lost=Atmosphere galore, but strangely most footage seems gray-ish. Curse the HL engine for bad H2o dripping fx, (but bless it 4 everything else).

    Origin=amazing. Is that daylight I see? (Another first ladies and gents!) And an actual spinning generator too? (Wonder what happens when I push a cart with a crystal into it). And a force-field! And a hologram!!!! Wow, that map gots everything. (personal fav so far.)

    We should have a thread devoted entirely to the analysis of the video and those maps.

    EDIT: DOH! There was one but I didn't see it, will paste this over there. much apologies.
