Jpn Servers

Is there a place where I can get a list of servers that are using JPN (or some other form of jetpack nerf)? I've randomly found one or two by searching the forums but I tend to get high pings on them. Is there a website or search system or something that I can use to find such ns servers?

Some of the "1.05" servers have JPN, but most don't.

for all those fake 1.05 servers. Please don't say your 1.05 unless you are running jp nerf and umbra spawn. thanks

The 1.05 tag was to let the players know that the server was using jpnerf + umbraspawn to mimic 2.0 style playing. It wasn't for the servers benifit but for the players.

I'm fine with servers using the 1.05 name, it is just my understanding that servers which call themselves 1.05 had to have a certain set of plugins applied. I thought that JPN was one of them, but I could be wrong...the thread talking about using "1.05" in server names is incomprensible. I was hoping that there was a list somewhere as it has become painfully obvious that even a partly intelligent marine team can win 90% of the time with some form of jetpack rush.

its just jpnerf and umbraspawn and the hiveheal fix (heals at 20/tick instead of 2/tick)

I thought it was also unstuck pro and no-leap-exploit plugin. And as far as I know jpn is _not_ mandatory for 1.05. I have it running, tho.

unstuck and noleap are almost manditory for all servers. A server w/o unstuck? ick

Wether or not some think it might be mandatory for every normal server is irrelevant to the question if its part of the definition of a 1.05 server.
And while unstuck is nice to have i don't think it's really a must have, even tho most player will whine if you don't have it.

Last time I read the thread you only need hive heal fix, umbra hive, umbra spawn, unstuck pro, and jpn was optional

Unstuck
No Leap Exploit
Umbra Spawn (once fixed)
Hive Heal

I gave up on the 1.05 thread, way too much confusion.

My server says 1.04 and lists the addons in a consgreet.

If you're looking for JPN and you have a game browser that can cope with it (like All-Seeing-Eye) then you can look for the server variable jpn_version.

For server ops benefit, the latest JPN version (v0.05) has been up for a week or so on several servers. It's the same as earlier versions except that jetpack users won't take falling damage any more, which should make your server more newbie-friendly without allowing the JP/HMG rushes from experienced players.
