Old? Perhaps.
One of my online acquaintances (and NW modeler/animator to boot!) from Ritual just started back at Terminal Reality, his old company, this week. Took at look at their site and noted they were the company behind Bloodrayne, a game I recall watching with anticipation after E3 2002.

Being the inquisitive type, I tried the PC demo that's available... and WOW. Really great stuff. I highly recommend it! Some of you may be familiar with the console version already, but for anyone who isn't, you play the role of Bloodrayne, a half-human/half-vampire in the mid 1930s. In the demo you have to eliminate a number of Nazi officers guarding a U-Boat station. The control system is incredibly intuitive as far as swapping around weapons and whatnot, and - of course - your only way to sustain your life is to suck the blood of the living.

Gets the KFS seal of approval, however little that may be worth. Check it out.

Aaand my TNT2 officially does not meet the minimum requirements.

Looks like it could be cool, tho.

While the concept is cool, all the demo showed me is that the full would be too repetitious.
Every battle just seemed the same -- run/slice your way to the nearest enemy nazi, suck blood while using his still-standing body as a human shield, rinse and repeat. I didn't even use the special view modes, bullet time, or bloodlust until the end of the mission when I learned they existed. I'm hoping the full game offers more variety than that.

Yea, I played the demo and got pretty bored after a few times thru (I too hadn't known about the special powers for a while). And I'm posotive that if you were in control of a male vampire, the game wouldn't have gotten any hype.

It looks like Tomb Raider, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Max Payne and a generic Vampire title got crossbred. And apparently the breasts have the same magical properties as the ones in DOA.....

Afterthought: No. The community isn't mature enough for this. Thank God for the edit button.
