its that same glow u get when u wanna place a building as a comm, it glows green yellow when good and reds when bad. now imagine that as blue and thats telling u its electric.
Thanks again. I was a bit worried because if they were electrified it would make the skulk's life even more of a misery when going up against improved turrets.
i`am still dubious about the elec res and tf`s anyway.
it totally nerfs any idea of a skulk taking down res or tf before fades which takes a lot of time and well... then marines are gonna be swooping up then res nodes like theirs no tomorow and we can`t do much all about it untill we got enough for a <!--emo&::fade::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/fade.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='fade.gif'><!--endemo--> alone, and even then.
them fades will be low on health after taking on a elect node and so its gonna be easy for a marine to kill it anyway.
keep in mind, a res node + elec for marines is 30 res plus a one minute timer on the elec (research time) For a alien its 10 res for the node + 4 ocs, which will easily keep the node covered for a good while, 15 res to go gorge btw but I didn't add that in, assuming you were already gorge.
i think now u practically have to be running into it.
they used to have it a feild but was taken out cos u could jus crowd all ur structures around the tf in ur base and anything getting close would get zapped.

and I think you are forgetting about gorge bilebomb available at hive 2
