Performance Tuning Guide

<div class="IPBDescription">(December 15-2001, 2 years old ???)</div> Hi, I was just reading the "Performance Tuning guide" for PCs at the ReadyRoom and was wondering if they are still accurate after 2 years.

I have Win-XP Pro Athlon 2000+ 1Gb memory + 80Gb 7200 RPM HD +GForce 4 MX.

I don't need tuning but some others might so it might be a good idea to revise them.

Nowadays, a lot of things can change in 2 years!!!

Most of the info in there, as far as services to disable and etc, are still perfectly valid.

It's still 100% valid. It could use some extra stuff I've uncovered over time though... more additions. And you know what?
