If i install Steam 2.0, will i still be able to play Natural Selection?

If so, will i still be able to play on all the servers or only ones that are running Steam....is there even a steam for Server side?

Help me i'm so stupid i can't figure things out for myself!

    Not to imply that this is the wrong forum to be talking about it, but frankly, I doubt that many people who read the General Forum will know much about it, even though it is a possibility.

    Steam is totally stand-alone and won't affect NS or any other half-life mod in any way.
