glass has the same transparency value all over + its texture. cus glass has much transparency you rarely notice the light value on it. the only and simplest solution for glass not being as bright as it should be is using different textures for different brightesses of the same glass.
now make a 3rd thread about glass and everyone believes you are selling some.
