    The problem is still that its hardly ever used. It's always HMG. Always. With a few.. 'hey com, can I get a GL'.

    I'm almost sure that the majority of the ppl that play on pubs have never even touched a shotgun.

    It should be made so that it's a viable weapon IMO.

    Which is why I showed you guys a civilian's thread, the suggestion was so that the shotgun isn't better than HMG, but so that it's better at close-range (by having a push effect). This would make it much more useful, and more people would ask shotgun in early-game than HMG with this.
