    looks great but too hard to recognize for an avatar i think. In my opinion an avatar should be easy to recognize, like a sign.

    Well that's evident from your avatar.

    I like an avatar to simply look like a mini piece of creativity. Like the digital art equivelent of a bonzai tree.

    I could be wrong but that is most likly Fam's work and Fam, I believe, uses photoshop and then some gif animation program.

    If your talking Merkba's then again my guess would be photoshop, Flash is realy geared towards different things.

    Maybe you could have it change a tiny bit each time it fuzzes out, just to make people think their eyes are playing tricks on them.
