Question Regarding What I Saw In A Sever..

<div class="IPBDescription">Laser pointers...?</div> When were there Laser Pointers in NS? I was playing in a server and the guns had laser pointers on the Marines team, I thought that was pretty cool, but how did the server get it or is there some way to activate/download them? Just wondering.

Hope I'm posting this in the right forum or should I post this in the server question forum?

It's a server mod; I haven't heard of it running for a while, probably because it ends up serving as an "early warning system" for aliens who can see marines coming from who knows how far away.

Not sure who made it, or where you might get it now.

i would try <a href='http://www.thehivemind.org' target='_blank'>The Hive Mind</a> cause they might have it... it would be under plugins most likely

my old clan server had it. But we made it so it's only visible by other marines only, meaning aliens cant see them. Yeah we had the same one, It was only visable to marines and the comander.
Tell you what, One of the coolest thind you ever saw was a squad of HA with Laser points lumbering down a dark hall

Aw shucks. That was pretty cool in the server though. Would the fact that there were bots in there be something..?

Well, the server DID say it was running 7 kinds of Metamod or something like that, so I guess its only finding the right metamods..

Im thinking that the marines laser targeter IS located on there helmet.

It is, but it doesn't show up in the official version of NS, I'm thinking it was a metamod or something =P

Well, the laser is <i>supposed</i> to come from the marine helmets...

you know whats funny... there is allotta stuff on the models that isn't used.. such as the scope on the LMG and the laser on helmet.... wierd but that plugin doesn't look right to me
