Music In Maps.

possible nublike question
I'm just wondering, is there anyway to turn off the music for a map. I've figured a way to have my own music playing through the level (target_mp3audio, or whatever it is) but right now the default NS music is still playing, and i want rid of it >_<.

So, any ideas or cheap hacks to do this +without+ having to delete the ns/music directory.

you can just delete the soundfile.
the hive ambience is really anoying, too loud in powersilo, so deleting this file is good.

He said without deleting sound files.

Esuna, I don't think there's any way of turning NS music off in a map, besides individuals deleting or renaming the files.

whatever you put in the ns/music folder gets played ingame in randomly.

I know, but i kinda want just this music track to play over the map. I think i might either scrap the idea or release the mp3 with it to put in the ns/music folder just so it does go in the loop.

But preferably i want to get it working

Does it play in multiplayer, too? Thought I only heard it in singleplayer.
