<div class="IPBDescription">So many choices...</div> Halo 2 or Doom 3; What game do you think is better and why?
I will post my choice later on as to not corrupt the outcome of the ideas that will be posted here.

Out of DOOM III and HL2? I'll never tell. ;)
Doom 3 looks absolutely stunning and atmospheric as hell. I'm absolutely certain i'll buy this, and Halo 2, well, heh, lets hope it's even remotely better than it's predecessor.
Half life 2
Halo 2: halo 1 wasnt really anything fancy. it was fun, and it excelled when lanning at college for the muliplayer. The weapon selection was tiny and the level design was never anything fancy, but i still had fun with it because of co-op. Halo 2 looks to improve greatly on all the flaws of the first game, and with my friends at college im sure we will lan this game far too often and will love it just the same.
Key reason to buy, mulitplayer aspects.
Doom 3: Graphically i don't see anything special here. The overall lighting of the game is fantastic but thats about it. Much of the glory that doom 3 once held for me has faded now that ive seen other games do similar things. Combined with the fact doom 3 has a iffy multiplayer support i'm not entirely sure.
Key reason to buy, spooky atmospheric story telling and eviroments.

as fo which to buy, it depends on what you want. I would get them all since they all excell in their own areas of expertise. If i had to choose....halo 2. Doom 3 while cool would be like a 1 or 2 time game. Play the single player then im done. Woo. However, if you have lots of friends halo 2 promises insane multiplayer. Multiplayer as we all know gives a game insane replay value.
have u seen the E3 HAlo 2 trailer??? the guy jumps on teh wing of a ghost b4 gettin run over!! U GET DOUBLE UZIS, new maps, MORE VEHICLES, more guns and the Assault rifl HAS A SCOPE!!!

Multiplayer aspects of games are key for when I'm buying a game that I want. Every game I own for my PC, aside from the two GTAs, and the occursed Morrowind, are online multiplayer. I'm into multiplayer so much more than single player that I havn't even finished single player on Halflife.

DOOManiac just doesn't want to admit that ID is a few yards behind valve now.
HL2 will be better than Doom 3. Doom 3 won't suck, it will still be a good game, Half Life 2 will just be better.
Nevertheless ! we're all going to have a awesome time playing HL2 and hopefully NS2.

DOOM3 looks fit to scare the pants off of me, and I don't feel like getting my pants scared off of me. Ever.
Since I played Halo(1) when I tried out at THORN just before the Xbox started selling, I really really want the PC version; Then I can try the multiplayer that I never got to try, and finish the dam game.
P.S the flood in halo was scary as crap for me, when 2 of the...small things got stuck outside the map, constantly making noises. *shudder*
