A Question About Electric Nodes

there has been alot of discussion about electric nodes in the beta forum, but there is something i would like to know for sure
i have heard that they cost 40 res each, if so i would think that it would really slow the marines down at the start, and some good aliens and maybe a gorge could take an undefended one down rather easily at a high cost to the marines

35 res is a lot in beginning so it can really be worthwhile for a gorge and a skulk to take it down; it will take really long though, even with upgrades. However the most time efficient method for destroying an RT at hive 1, is to build Offense Chambers around. So yeah basically unknown16 is right.
It all of course depends on how long it takes a few OC's to take out an RT.
