    Yo guys, i appreciate all the replys.

    Just came back from seeing 28 days later..It was a great movie, story and all, but I didn't jump once heh..(yes I know, I am a cold-hearted basterd).

    I am going to give that meditation a go. But seeing that I follow the Christian belief, should I meditate about God or something? (I am not that diehard of a religious fanatic). lord blue, more facts plz, thx bro.

    Well tonight or tommorow I am going to play music softly and run a fan to distract my attention and try to fall asleep.

    Right now, I am not sleeping on my dinky little bed, but rather my sister's nice queen size bed. WOOT! Shes so cool.
    Anyways i will try everything, i think.

    EDIT: ill keep you guys updated

    I'm usually up to at least 1:30, read for at least an hour, then go to sleep, which takes another 1 to 2 hours. Wake up at 9 or 10 or something.

    Last 2 nights though I haven't been able to sleep til 4:30. Im pretty surprised that lately I havent been needing much sleep, I made up for it this morning though, didn't get out of bed til 2 in the afternoon.

    Perhaps that's the catch: You're too relaxed during the day, thus you can't relax enough to go to sleep when you need to. Just a thought that struck me.

    You can meditate on anything. You could meditate on who killed JFK if you want to <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->. If you're meditating to relax yourself just focus on your breathing. Count the breaths or something, but be mindful of your breathing and sit straight. That's all you have to do. If you want I could post a more in depth guide to meditation. So, yeah just ask or something <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    what? focus on my breathing?

    aww, this stupid website is telling me to detach from my body [mentally] after only a ten second count up*. blah

    i *knew* that stuff was crap from the movies

    meditation is probably just focusing on something so hard that u tune everything else out, and effectively relax

    well, providing youre focusing on something that doesnt stress u out <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    edit: * also, it didnt work <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
