Background Sound?

im trying to be able to actually hear the sound from the guns and ppl talking and me biting but i cant, why?
because the sound from the enviroment in the maps is so ow loud that i cant hear sh**t...

how do i lower the background sound? not the music, i turned it off, the background sound...

I will refrain from commenting on the grammar of your post, but as for your question. Does this happen all the time, or only when you alt-tab? If you quit and go back in, it should be better. Also, if you go to config -> audio, you from the main NS menu, you can change the HEV suit and Game Sound sound levels. yeah dont mention my grammar since english is my forth language... do you know any language exept english?

anyway, changing hev suit volume dident work. and the background (enviroment) sound is still high from start, and always when i play ns. dosent change when i alt-tab

Well, I know spanish, but you have more languages then me under your belt. I commend you.

I have no idea what may be the problem with that. You could try just nerfing everything and trying a fresh installation...
(I know thats a lot of work)

Besides, if these forums weren't english-only (pm each other in whatever language you like!), I'd be speaking danish and german all day.

Try binding a key to "stopsound", that will stop all sounds currently playing. In NS some of the environmental sounds are unaffected by this, but it will kill the annoying pg sound and such.
