<div class="IPBDescription">from flayra himself :P</div> <Flayra> The best thing about 2.0 is the hovar easter egg <Flayra> Here's a hint: you have to be gestating into a lerk on top of a really thin surface grating, then you have to enter a key combination. If you do it right, the lerk you become can hovar without flapping.
lmao Flayra... btw this was on IRC if u dont know... u see u get special 2.0 info if u idle and u get free cookies.. how much better can it get..... o and i accidently told every1 that the primal scream was replaced by a cat's meow, but monse said it was a purrr..... also i let slip that in the future version there will be no more JP's... only Harry Potter brooms that hovar w/out flapping (srry IRC guys i had to do this <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)

Yes, what is this Nancy one. I do hear you have to jump through the door and that no clipping won't help. The odd part is, I can't find people who have done it in the rr so I don't think its the ol' f4...

I would really have loved to see this become some kind of myth with some people saying "How do you do it?", others claiming "It isn't possible" and some saying "It is possible, I have done it, you're a n00b if you can't do it".
It would have been cool if you left it in for a week, then released a patch (i.e, 2.01) which supposedly disables the "cheat". Then people would have done nothing but try and hovar without flapping for the whole game <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
This would make marine victories particularly easy, I can just imagine it:

I showed him, by jumping in and hitting F4 and rejoining.....

rofl i always say there is a secret door in the room where you could either spectate or go random team... i crouch-walk then jump into the symbol and F4 back and say "isnt that cool?!?!?" and he keeps trying it...

I used to do that on tfc.. u draw a box with nail gun, crouchwalk over to it, hit spectate. Tell them all you come out in teh water. U see people trying it for 2 hours
Someone tried to do that to me on Hera but I had recently read about it so I knew what he was doing and I went along with it in order to help trick others. I tried to make a demo of it but as soon as I started NS crashed.
Also: when you hit f4, you can spraypaint again. I've covered entire readyrooms in orange (with some help from others).
