<div class="IPBDescription">why dont GL hit onos</div> GL explodes on contact with every other unit in game except ONOS.. why is this....... i shoot onos countless itmes and grenades never explode they go thru the onos

    Its a hitbox thing. Despite its size, I beleive (I could be wrong) that the Onos only has a Marine sized hitbox in its center. If you don't hit it, it doesn't register as hitting the onos. Its due to clipping and movement restraints.

    No, a standing onos has his own specially designed hitbox. The only problem is that the hitbox doesn't cover anywhere near the entire length of an onos. Hitboxes are evil!

    IIRC, the onos hitbox starts at his front legs to his back legs, and from the bottom of his little udder things to around the top of his back.

    so if you aim at his feet, head, derriere, you'll miss.
