Geek play not working?
I just downloaded the demos of the US vs EU match. I cant seem to get it to play. I installed geekplay, I unzipped all the files to my desktop, and I double click on one. I click play and it just crashes giving me some message about symtex? I dont know.. (Even though thats an explosive, it was a word like that)

Can somone help me? Gives me something to do when I'm bored. Thanks.

    Hey,
I had that prob at first, and then I unzipped them into my NS dir, no problem, other than that they were choppy and slow (no reason for it either, my comp should take it). Running them from the desktop didnt seem to work.

    Hope that helps

Sometimes if geekplay doesnt work, the old fashioned way does, just put the demo's in your ns directory then go into console and type "playdemo demoname" and it should play alright, other than that, you;re screwed

As a side point the explosive is semtex :o

By the way some people had problems with the US vs EU demos making them lose +mlook, so be prepared to put that back on
