    Searching just for "rebirth" in the simple keyword search at the bottom brings up <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=10&t=34013&hl=rebirth' target='_blank'>this</a> as one of the threads. Plenty more screenies there, too, for those who want more.

    Hey they aren't as scary as the low poly models. Low polys tend to be scarier.

    I dunno. I personally find the new cyborg midwife quite terrifying - just the look of horror plastered on her face... Eep.

    That's because your mind has a lot more wiggle room to fill in the blanks as to what, exactly, scares YOU.

    Got my copy.. found it in a bargain bin a few years back. STILL haven't finished it because I can't get past the portion with the Midwives... they scare the living cr*p outta me. I'll have to see if I do any better now that they aren't Ms. Skullhead.
    Though I have to at least partly disagree with the way they were redone.. should have kept the abdominal plate. sometimes was afraid that they might be carrying some of their broodling spawn around inside them, with an access hatch there. :b

    I'm stuck on the cargo decks with dozens of exploding protocol droids, 7 armour piercing bullets and little else.     System Shock 2 is a great game, and is legally available for download as it has been released as freeware.

    OK, you can't buy the game anywhere, and probably the biggest, most well-known abandonware site on the net has it for download, so I assumed it had been released as freeware (BTW, I know of several games released as freeware after less than 2 years so it wasn't that unreasonable for SS2 to be freeware).

    yeah..damn you... only because one of the companys who have done ss2 no longer exists,and the system shock license no longer belongs to the other company ,does this not mean ss2 is free to download...
    the system shock license got now a new owner..and that means ss2 is their property too..
    and maybe we get a new system shock in a few years..

    because shodan is still allive

    I have Never he4ard of this game before, is it like that movie virus where a crazy machine combined human bodies with machines? becuase i see that freaky 1/2 topless girl and im thinking the machines took sum girl or crew person and mutilated them then creating its own cyborg? because that is jsut freaky
