Look at your Backspace/Delete button. Then the key diagonal to it, should say Prt Scrn or something along those lines. Press it while you have your window open and then get some kind of image editor out. Like Paint, go to edit, then pase. Then trim off everything that isn't the window itself and save as a gif. Lastly, make a next post and look below the typing field. Should be another text box with a header File Attachments. Hit the browse button and select the file. And you're set.

    What Burn said.^

Only thing to watch for is that Milkshape will save the screenshot as a bitmap, but since the board only lets you upload jpegs or gifs (under 112k or thereabouts ) you'll have to convert the bitmap to one of these formats.

I did what both burncycle and JediYoshi did, and it just comes up as you can not upload this type of file...whats wrong with it? I dont know how to convert a bmp to a jpeg, but can I use paint?

Anyways, the gun I am modeling is a car15 I believe.

I seem to remember having trouble using jpegs produced in Paint..If you have anything else, say Photoshop, or PSP, try re-saving it in one of those..

If you only have Paint, you'd do well to get some better imaging software really..

    <a href='http://www.gimp.org/' target='_blank'>http://www.gimp.org/</a>

Totally free photoshop-style program..just be sure and get the Windows version.

That error generally means that your file is too large - you need it to be under 120kb.

Crouching hamster is right, I wrote a long reply to this thread, just to find out that it didn't work when I wanted to test it to be sure...

Conclusion : paint is teh suk

Use the program hamster suggested, or preferably Paintshop or photoshop, or whatever

    Good luck

    Cheers

Find your image in windows, and click it once. On the left of the screen, it should give you a thumbnail, and something like "blahblah.jpeg" "size 57.4k" or whatever.

Failing that , click it then right click > properties.
