<div class="IPBDescription">(need info to model marine)</div> Hi, I am remodeling the marine light soldier. There are some of his body parts which I need to know what they ar in order for me to model them. Again this is a high poly version meant for movies.

- Belt : 4 light gray pack on his left side. What are they for ?

- Belt : one brown pack on it's right side. What is it for ?

- Belt : one dar gray thing (don't know if it's a pack or not) on his front side. What is it for ?

- Front below belt : is that a metal jackstrap armor thingy or is it just a pale part of his pant ?

- If 2 communication ways are possible then shouldn't he have somekind of antenna, microphone and headset ?

- not sure about the boots but are they metal caps in front and back or just the back and front is metal piece to actualy kick things ?

    i'll give you my theories.

-four grey backs on his left side. hmm...so hard <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> probably ammo

    -pistiol ammo?

-dunno, is it on his rigth side? next to the brown pack?

    -its a groin cup <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> serious

-new technologies? headsets do get pissant sometimes, i know as i own one. keep sliding off if you don't secure it uber tight, but then it hurts ur head

-steel toed boots :\ yea, kick stuff. kick it hard.

The colors your talking about is not the same on the black skin as on the white skin... the packs look completly different... And my speculations is that the most of the bags is there to make the model look less flat and that it's up to you to imagine whats in them... but thats just my 2 cents

the little brown bag changes on the black player skin. that's all. I now speculate that thing that i wondered what it was is some sort of handheld radio, (hence no headset).

--The light grey packs are for ammo.

--The brown pack is for carrying his plush gorge doll around in.

--The dark grey thing is a...um... dark grey...gizmo...with buttons...for...um...polishing his boots! Yeah. That's it.

--The front part below his belt is part of the pants, but it's a padded, kevlar lined section. This provides some extra protection from human enemies (kicks, knee strikes, small caliber weapons, etc.), aliens, and little yippie dogs that like to go for the groin. It also makes the marines appear slightly more well hung, especially when they pose for the annual "Hot Hunks of the TSA" calendar.

--He has no microphone, largely due to the extra polys that would have required. If you'd like to give him one for the high poly version, be my guest. Otherwise, I'm sure there is some futuristic technology that could explain the lack of a microphone. In fact, Jeff, our writer, has probably already come up with one.

--Not sure exactly what you are asking about the boots, but the heel and front tip is supposed to be metal. The front metal section is good for kicking down doors, people, aliens, and little yippie dogs. The metal heel section is good for tap dancing.

Hope this helps. Don't worry about being super accurate. You can take some artistic liberties with the models in order to make them look better in movies and what not, as long as the main look of remains recognizable and consistent.
