left = flat
right = smoothe shaded


its a suplicate of the front end... but put on the back....

    I'm not familiar with Milkshape, but you probably have doubled or backwards faces that are smoothing incorrectly.

    possible reasons.
    - polygons have different smooth groups (happens when changing smooth groups while "ignoring backsides"
    - Verticles are not welded together. Ask the comm for a welder, snap them together and weld them.
    - You have polygons inside of you model that are not visible from ourside but have the same smooth group as some polygons from outside.
    - Milkshape driven crazy. Jeah sometimes it does. restart milkshape or pc.

    have you weld them together?

    sometimes unwelding and welding things back together makes them smooth better to how you want them. just select what you want smoothed, go to Vertex, unweld. then after go to vertex and weld together. that usually fixes that problem.
