Music In Ns. Anyone Else Have Problems With It?

Im running a 2700xp (not overclocked anymore its back to standard for a while) with 512 mb of ddr400 ram, and the music is like a broken record, meaning, it skips like a broken constantly, it takes about a minute to get through 20 seconds of the song it skips that much. Its loud, and if you lower the volume (my volume is set to .6) the music stays at default, becming even louder.

To be honest, I really would like to get rid of it. Can it be done? Does anyone else have troubles with it?

Delete, move, or change the files in the half-life/ns/music folder.

Another way is set music volume to 0. A third way is join the game right after it starts, the music won't play then.

if u type cl_musicvolume 0 in console u can turn it off.

Or you could do the sensible thing and actually turn it off instead of down.

cl_musicenabled 0

lol, go into multiplayer and customize or whatever and there is an option. geez lol

there actually isnt an option, it does nothing, i just went in my config and did the cl_musicenabled 0 thing
