Not perfect yet I suppose, but it didn't look right without this bright spot in the middle either, so this is the best of the ones I made. It may well benefit from not being so bright though, if anyone wants to do that (though if I can be bothered I'll do it myself).

e/ i tried this before which is why i had the file onhand. I read over the ps file and changing the sprite name in there didn't work. Instead of flare3.spr i changed it to resgas.spr which i had placed in my sprites folder. It used flare3.spr anyway so i don't know if editing the ps file helps that much at all.
I think he meant the path they take is coded, but the sprites are editable <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

check da PM's.
Yes, this would take very little time and effort to fix. So why not do what I did once upon a time when I wanted to tweak a sprite, and find out how it's done?
I know how it's done, but I'm already having a problem w/ Photoshop.
