ok, who's concept art is that?


so far, i'm making a shotgun out of it... just because i can

Poly = 350
Texture = Null
Date of Release (crossing my fingers) - Anounce on "THE SHOW" - via NS radio July 5th

anyway, here's the image.

    All I can suggest is beefing up the barrel a bit if it's going to be a shotty. Looks like a good sketch to be working from though - looks like one of the SC: Ghost guns in style.

    i must say, i don't know how you will pump that. it will take some creativity to make an animation that covers iti well enough that it just doesn't look like a pause between shots when you use it.

    awsome job enforcer... but i got bored, and decided to make this while i mesh the muta...

    this art is a GREAT tool for teaching people in modeling.

    i'm teaching my friend with this gun... while he makes his first model, i'm making a slightly modified version of it to replace the shotty...

    there's a grip in front which i'm using as the pump...

    Modifications (so far):
    - Grip: a more shot-gun like grip
    - Clip: getting rid of it, so it can use default animations
    - Scope: i'm getting rid of it because i favor regular mounted sights
    - Barrel: i'm changing that too...



    Enforcer, is it ok if i make a shotty based off of your art?

    my shotgun version of it. (i didn't really like the rifle anyways. It looks a little odd and i doubt that it would have looked good ingame)

    Yeah - in fact because I want a new shotty I just started messing with the default last night, to make it look a little bit meaner. If I can be bothered I'll reskin it to use high-detail textures too, since the textures I have (Daemon Elite - I lost the original) don't look that great on it. It's not much, but it's quick and painless, unlike the Kharaa models I'm making at the moment.

    its just seems a bit too low poly? That would look best as a world model in my opinion <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->. I think you can spare some more detail no?

    It's not for my pack this one. Just a quickie because I wanted a break from my Oni Kharaa set. However, I need to reskin it (from scratch, possibly with a new skinmesh), get BM's (or whoever made it if it wasn't him) permission to release, and possibly remodel the pump and a few other areas.

    nothing wrong with low poly. With a good skin im sure it'll look fine. I was just sayin that alot of world models have the same number of polies <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> Its your gun though i was just suggesting more detail.

    It's just the default with (i) The stock not folded back (ie I attached it to the body's bone) and slightly edited, and (ii) one enlarged barrel instead of two smaller ones. Anyone with MS3D could whip it up in a matter of minutes.
