Help Me Decide How To Spend My Money.

Anime or HDD
I'm having a rather hard time deciding how I should spend my money.

So I'm throwing it open for debate.

Do I
A.) Spend $200 on a new 120Gb HDD to 'add to the collection'
OR
B.) Spend $190 on the following DVDs: Rurouni Kenshin Vol.11, 13, 16. (All 30 bucks each) and Tenchi Muyo OVA Box Set (100 bucks)

Decisions.... decisions.....

Send me the 200$ and watch your problems go bye bye.

Also, you get the satisfacion of feeling all warm inside.

It will also help you sleep better.

This is obvious. The HDD is your choice.

No constructive comments, I know. I just think that you'll get more out of buying a HDD than watching those DVDs...

I'd go for the HDD. Be it purely for the fact that you said you'd spend $100 on Tenchi.

    'cause.

    Anime.

And the 120Gb HDD would be used to store more anime. So... yeah.... It's anime both ways.

I reckon 200 bucks of assorted car parts from your local scrap metal dealer, then use the parts to construct a giant robotic battle suit which you can use to destroy Neo-Australia or something.

Remember to keep 10 bucks aside for blue hair dye..

Out of the 2 choices Id say a Hard drive,, or a video card if u need one.

If not put it in the bank is good idea too.
  • RhuadinRhuadin Join Date: 2003-06-05 Member: 17023Members
I would say, out of those 2 choices get a new HDD and then get the anime you want and put it on it.

If I could recommend anything, I'd suggest investing it.

Southwest airlines stock has been going up, but Nvidia has doubled in like, the past month. Vivendi (the producer of both Blizzard AND Sierra (and thus indirectly VALVe)) is doing ok too but it's been declining these past few days.

Buy the HD, then give the $10 leftover plus another $10 to Flayra.

More importantly, what sort of 120GB IDE hard-drive costs $200??? Shouldn't be more than $100 max. OG OG OG!

Folks, be smart and never, ever, EVER do this unless your savings can take atleast a $2000 hit without you suffering in any way. Smalltime investing never pays off, or if it accidentally does, it doesn't do so because you were clever and knew what you were doing. Unless you have a bucketload of money to spare, and can take the time to carefully follow the daily happenings of the companies you've invested in, don't even think about trying to make an extra buck this way. Also, paying for investing tips is like paying for betting tips. If the guy tipping you off knows all the answers, how come he still gets paid by the hour?

Can't decide. The extra storage space would be good (I've had to start putting my stuff on CD's and I have 60GB), but some anime is awesome. I've seen half of the Ghost In the Shell SAC series, and am working my way through Evangelion. Wow. I just started watching last month and I am hooked. Anyone have any suggestions for a series I might like?

Buy a bottle of Jaeger. One of the big ones. Then drink that with a couple friends then go to the nearest mall or something. When you wake up the choice will have been made.
