I Wish To Make A Server

<div class="IPBDescription">Help me....BECAUSE IF YOU DONT</div> I'd like to host a Natural-Selection server for everyone to play on but I am unaware of the requirements. I have 1 1.5mbps connection into my home, would that be sufficient for play? Also, does my PC need to be an OMG LIKE LEET WOW OMG system for it to give everyone decent pings? Id like it to be between 10-14 people slots, 1 reserve for moi.     Sounds like you've got a decent enough connection. What are the specs for your current machine (i.e., a machine you would be able to use for the server)?

    is that the UPLOAD speed of your connection?

    If so, you'll be good to go, but you'll need a dedicated server machine (ie 2 computers).

    The dedicated server should ideally have at least a 1.4GHz CPU and 512Meg of decent DDR.

    Aside from that there are no other really important hardware requirements.

    If you're behind a router, open up UDP ports 27000-27020 and TCP ports 6002 and 7003

    Yeah, what you listed is what I have, its gonna take some time, and some loot, but eventually youll all see a server. Ill probably wait for 1.1, though. No sence in configuring it prime for 1.0/ 1.5Unoffcial, then having 1.1 comeout the next day heh
