I mean, Bungie!
so yeah, I looked through Bungie's new Website set. Man, has it changed. It used to be pretty ground-breaking to use php and such, but now it's the standard for all good internet sites, so that's not too impressive. The "purty graphic" aspect has increased in pace with the industry for each website they make. They make it mildly difficult to find information about older stuff; that's to be expected, they're not really working much on that anymore, and that's typical for most game websites. What else? The disappointment that is Halo 1: PC? Yeah. "oooh, new multiplayer modes, and a game that you've beaten so many times on the X-Box you could do it on the PC in your sleep!" Smart move, Microsoft; sad move, [for the] world. I then looked at some of the info for Halo 2, I guess I was used to how open mods are as to what they are doing so the whole "um yeah, we workzored hard on the audio and cinema... cinema.. cinematography" really didn't help too much (this was visiting their main website, not a fansite). Another fun thing was, while looking through the archives, finding out that the Man had left bungie back in '02. During the interview they harped and insulted a Microsoft intern. gg, insulting an intern AND he's from microsoft, they better go to heaven for that one. But yeah, overall, Bungie, a once-epic software company has been reduced to a level of "hey man, it's waay better than EA Games!" and that makes me sad. Thanks for listening.

no, you see, Microsoft bought Bungie so that they could use Halo as a cash cow; they saw the game for what it was (good+profitable). They had slated to release Halo for the PC like a year later, but since Halo was still the only reason for owning an Xbox, they're holding out on it; basically, milking it for all it's worth.
But back on topic... Ive been waiting for the PC release of Halo since it was announced to be released in '00 ... 4 years down the road, and im still f****** waiting for it.....
/me curses Microsoft...
