<div class="IPBDescription">while everyone is waiting for 1.1</div> There are two largley overlooked ways of helping with the development of NS and ensuring that it remains the most advanced HL mod availiable.

<b>Constellation</b>

Its simple - donate $20 to further NS development and get a tres cool icon by your name on the scoreboards of all NS 1.1+ servers - like the developer,server op and PT icons at the moment.

a great way to get something pretty cool and special for the next version and also help NS out in a big way. I'll admit to not having gotten round to doing this yet... and i'm sure plenty other peeps are in the same boat.

Even easier - you part with your cash and recieve very cool NS stuff, mousemats, baseball caps, Gorge T-Shirts (tres tres cool) mugs and all kinds of mad stuff.

Haha but seriously, hes right. If you have money and you have a job and you enjoy playing NS you should feel obligated
to contribute =[ Flayra is a great and really talented guy, and he's spent years of his life working day and night to turn his dream into the great game we have today(i'm not even gonna mention all the hours put in by the dev team), if you appreciate that and you have the means you should really make an effort to help out - think about it, you probably would've payed 50 bucks for this game in the store and now you've got it for free, why not donate 20-30 bucks to get a cool icon or some cool gear.

i would love to, buts its all in the USA.

I would wear an NS tshirt like 24/7, hell i would buy a couple.

but the exchange rate and shipping costs are prohibitive.

ill see if i can do that constellation thing, but its still going to cast me $40.

Well, I've got some money. But I have to buy a bunch of stuff for college. If I have any money leftover, I'll get me something NS (or just donate). I would have donated a long time ago, but i rarely have much money, and now it's going to be even less (Hello freshman year of college, goodbye money).

I'd seriously consider Constellation if there was an easier way than sending cash. Currently, that is not the case for anyone living in Europe without a credit card. Checks either don't work or cost huge exchange fees, and European credit institutes don't know what a money order is (neither do I, but I tried asking my credit institute...).
Same problem with the shop, but I have decided to boycot the shop anyway lest the give me teh plush gorgeh.

As for that constellation thing, its an interesting idea, and the icon might be alright, but i wouldnt go any further than that, or else it may make a lot of ill feelings in the community. I recall the same thing happening with the custom player heads in that desert conflict mod. Admins throwing people out of servers because they thought that they were devs and so forth.

Ok, we need to start a plush gorge thread. My baby is due in a few weeks and it would fricken Rule if I could bring a little beeine baby like gorge to the delivery room (to ofset all the teddybears, dolphines, monkies and other cuteness my wife insists we have on hand)
