<div class="IPBDescription">how do i install?</div> When i try to install it says i need half-life 1.1.1.0 or CS Retail 1.3 to install. is there any way around this?

umm, I assume you have played DoD OL, yes? so you have it fully up to date, ja?
if not, update it.

and if that don't fix it, your gona have to wait till either:
MonsE Makes a new installer (it is MonsE who makes em, right?)

Although, I'm not sure exactly how it's done, I'd read the stickied threads on installing NS on CS retail. I do believe the situation is the same (where you need the dummy hl.exe file to fool the installer).

And yes, MonsE is the lovable galoot that did the 1.0 installer.

You can always find some software that can extract the insaller (i have one for Wise, and i am sure i saw one for Install Shield some time ago too).

hmm, the dummy hl.exe was for european verisons of CS/HL but it mite work for DoD, so look around for thgaat

That dummy <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org/downloads/hl.exe' target='_blank'>hl.exe</a> should definitely allow you to install NS/DOD. Whether or not NS/DOD will actually work? Impossible to tell, it's never been tested, to my knowledge...

I'll add that to our to-do's, as it's been selling well enough that there will be some customers come 1.1 time.

Ya, as long as you have hl.exe the program should install. But if is says need higher version then download Cs 1.0.0.5 and install that then install Natural Selection. If that doesn't work then.
