Is some one with a Mic
I was in a game on tanith, the marines had two hives locked down and were going to kill us fairly soon. They had a massive turret/mine farm and fusion, multiple siege bases near waste and reactor room was their base.
We were sitting, waiting to be killed when I decided we should do something. I told everyone to go right outside reactor. I talked loudly and said stuff like "this is what we are going to do" to make it sound like I knew what I was doing.
Every single person listend and all but a few who were going to hit the fusion Turret Farm came, we charged and cought them with maby 2 people in base, humping the armory. They had maby one mine pack spread out in their base because we had largely ignored thier base. We killed everything in it and won less then a minute later.
The Marines main base is usualy a pretty good target, because they generaly dont bother building turrets thier, and the mines are usualy ignored after the first part of the game and so tend to be very spread out from occasional skulks who attack it. It is an EXCELENT idea to bring along one, or even better two gorges for some healing, mine clearing and to drop a OC on the phase gate so they cant phase in and you can concentrate on the IP's.
So next time your team is asking the marines to hurry up and finish off their one hive, get on the mic and order the charge on thier base.

When I'm comm, however, I'm constantly watching the MT blips on the minimap. When I see one or two aliens heading towards something I usually calmly say 'Hey, I need a marine at *place*'. You can be damn sure that when I see the entire alien team congregating outside my base, that I'll be like, 'First 4 marines that make it to base get a free HMG!' That'll get those damn pub brats moving.

Good story, I never tire of hearing these kind of stories.
Join a game as alien, map nancy
Aliens had sub space and port
When i joined 6 HA were killing port hive.........They had 3 rt's i think and the aliens had the rest of the map.
The 6 HA rampaged through the corridors to subspace GL, HMG killing everything in thier path.
Now they got to subspace and after a 10 minute battle the 6 HA got killed by 5 respawning skulks (lack of skill on the marine part.
Now after we killed the HA we started trying to hit port again to get the hive back up but port had been secured with TF and lots of turrets. While we were hitting port 2 JP's sneaked into subspace killed the hive and all the skulks died except for one guy who went gorg and put the hive straight up again.
Now this poor gorge was sitting in a bunch of DC's with 3 OC's in the middle of the corridor from subspace and all the while the hive was building the marines were trying to knife kill him for fun?.....guess they didn't realise the hive was building. This carried on until the hive got built, 1 lone gorge stayed alive and killed everyone that attacked him, then we respawned rushed port taking it down quickly becasue all the marines were playing with the gorge, and then it was game over
It was a good game and felt good to come back from no hives to win the game but i have to say that any competant marine team would have won the game.
Have a competent commander.
Know how to relocate.
We all had HA and HMG (except me and another one who had a GL each), and we were advancing in. We were killing the aliens easily before they got to us, and the fades were being driven back easily or just killed. But as we rounded the next corner, there were no aliens. So we thought, you know, they'd gone to turtle up (not a usual Kharra strat, but it works). So we were walking down, and we rounded the next corer, nothing there. BUT! as we got half way down that corridoor, 5 or 6 skulks burst out of the walls* and xenocided us. Funnily enough, i was the only one killed. BUT! then a fade came round the corner, and one acid rocket finished them off. We were gobsmacked, the aliens were rejoicing, and then 2-3 onos poured out of the door. We lost.
I don't know how they got co-ordinated like that, but it was brilliant to see.
*For those of you who don't know, in seige006, there are walls which are ridged (only way i can think of to explain it) so a marine or skulk can hide in them.
