1.04 Server Patch Affect A Non-dedicated Server?

If i want to set up a quick internet game of NS with some buddies, can the 1.04 patch be used? This will be a non-dedicated server as i will be playing on that machine.

Can we use 1.04 or are we stuck with 1.0?

Any help appreciated.

yes u can use the 1.04 patch.

You need to remove sv_lan 1 from listenserver.cfg too.
