No im not giving away models
Ok i made a list for modelers to make there model better, low poly and overall cool.

1) Lowering a models poly:

There are many ways to lower polys on models. I found a easy way to do this is make ur gun quite small and make it bigger this will lower polys but make ur gun look like it is fit for a giant. And there is back faces... Another list this time on what models can get rid of back faces....

1] Lmg: you never see the back of the gun
2] Hmg: never see back off gun
3] handgun: you sometimes see the back of the gun so just delete a few
4] Gl: same as lmg
5] Shotgun: NEVER GET RID OF BACK FACES ON THE SHOTGUN!!

Thats raps that part up..

2) Modeling for dumbasses

Tutorials are not the best way to learn how to model but they can start you off. SO read a couple tuturials find out how to make boxes (lol) and start small. I admit my first model was the biggest heap of crap known to man! you want to know what it was? it was a wooden ruler YOU HAPPY NOW!! SO anyway make small things make a ceap handgun out of boxes. Than get more advanced using triangles etc.

3)Animating for dumbasses

Animating is quite eazy. Simply use the animating bar down the bottom of milkshape. Click the button "Anim" this activates animating mode. Now move ur skeliton down under the ground (the boxy thingy) Now move ur bones to your liking than go to the animate tab and click set keyframe and keep moving along the bar till your done.

Ps. Ill add more just gtg sleep now

How do you make it smaller and bigger at the same time again?

smaller as in less poly but huge as in massive UT guns.

Your first bit makes no sense. Seriously - the best I could make out is it's some poor-man's shortcut and will result in lower-quality models, when what you really want is to reduce the polycount while not compromising a model's detail. Paul Steed has an excellent tutorial to get a person started with that.

While deleting unseen faces is an excellent way to reduce polycount, applying those over-generalised rules of yours to anything is courting disaster. You'd need to look at each model and its animations individually to decide what can go and what can stay. Also bear in mind tht backfaces have an effect on smoothing even if they're unseen, so sometimes you'll want to keep them. Again, that depends on each model individually.

Calling your target audience dumbasses isn't so hot an idea.

However, following tutorials is the only way to start, I'd say. Otherwise you're just left staring at a confusing interface without a cle how to get your creation from your head onto your screen. Also, the vast majority of tutorials will leave you with something more interesting, more useful, and more complex than a collection of primitives.

I'm not sure where to begin on deconstructing your animation thing, since I absolutely dispise MS3D's animation tools, so I'll just leave it with a disparaging sneer.

    1) I said doing that way of making it small will- make it look horible and shouldnt be done.
    2) i said that SOME guns can gtet deleted back faces and some cant unless u change the animations
    3) It was a joke ok?
    4) I learnt how to model by myself and animate so there.

    4) Add-ons

Ok we all like the scope laser sight and silencer but dont go overboard. Eg The laserpoint knife topic. Now before you add a scope for example, you must think on how it holds there eg. Therats handgun. Or you'll have sheena picture spamming (No offence we love pictures )

    Now how to make lasers
Before doing this you should atleast know how to model pretty well, There is 2 ways of doing this. You can a) select a gun which already has a laser thing b) make 1 c) be really cheap and dont make 1 O_o
Laser are quite easy there are 2 ways of making lasers. 1st] Simple place a cylinder or make 3 verticies in the shape of a triangle and add another 1 in the middle a bit further out. than face it up move it in postion assign it to the correct bone. Add the transparent command in the qc. And compile

    5)Skining
Again there is two types of skinning 1st] Photo skinning= Taking a picture of a weapon and skinning it onto a gun. This way can look like ****. But sometimes can come out very good if done well. 2nd] Skinning from scratch= Want people to ph33r you "elite" photoshop skillz well this is for you. This is one of the hardests ways of skinning so if you were not good at drawing in grade 2 dont do it . (ps. that was a joke) Keep trying to skin soon you shall get it familerise your self with filters etc.

It's worth pointing out that some of the tutorials/ rants here border on sheer genius, in a "now why the hell didn't I think of that?" way...
