Go to your start/programs/sierra/half-Life/voice setup and run that.

there is a hole next to where your speakers go into, at the back of your PC

Just plug it next to it, and you dont need any drivers for it, and away you go!

in halflife you will need to bind a key to ..

bind KEY "+voicerecord"

This should be in Tech, /me senses a *phase* coming...

At the back of your soundcard there is a hole (probably red) that says "mic" next to it, slam that mic plug in there

Make sure your soundcard is properly set up

And then indeed do the HL voicetweak thing, set it on 75% or 100% depending on your soundcard and windows settings.

If you want to know if it works, go into NS (make a lan server or something) and go to the console and type:

voice_loopback 1

Now you will hear yourself when you say something, and you will know if the sound is clear yes/no
