gl_wireframe 1 shows the triangles that are being drawn in addition to your normal view, and gl_wireframe 2 makes the textures go away so you can see EVERYTHING that's being drawn. I think they only work in singleplayer, though.
jeez nice....... the computer thingie, now looks cool, and also i like the 1st pic, that shows some infestation textures, that infestation hangin from the ceiling looks cool.... as always....... MORE SCREENIES <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> lol

JediYoshi: you cant start a LAN or internet game and do this, you have to go into the console from the starting NSTR screen/menu (click the Console button) and then type Map -mapname- in. then you can use it.

this isnt strictly true, gl_wireframe 1 just superimposes the wireframe over what you can normally see, while gl_wireframe 2 shows the wireframe of all the brushes in your surrent vis_portal (and doesnt remove the textures, they are still visible). Chrome has use gl_wireframe 2 in that picture, hence why you can see around the corner of the corridor, rather that just whats in front of you.
That said: I think you should try HINT brushing this area Chrome because you could probably bring down r_speeds quite a bit.
too bad u ran out of screenies <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> anyways, it looks cool, and, have u tryed to put the hive a bit more lower? like, if this is wc grid
Here's a view of the marine start. Plenty of room for building / spawning. The conmmand console is in the small room at the back, a corridor leads off the top right and another exit is below the camera.

I'm really enjoying your texturing here, especially in that second to last shot. The lighting (the last shot for example) is really great as well. I love the shadows left behind from the spotlights like that.
My only real gripe would be the way some walls seem so tall and flat at the same time. Like the part in the second to last shot with the pink lab texture on it. Perhaps if it was shortened down, or just had some sort of bevel, ridge, or support stuff on it, it'd look a bit better.
Overall though, I really like the look you've got here. The style reminds me of the very first concepts Cory and Flay came up with for NS levels back on overmind (in 3DSmax or something)... and that must be a good thing. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

What is the command for enabling wire frame? I saw it once on the Snark pit but can't remember it now...
gl_wireframe 2 and/or gl_wireframe 1
work. I keep getting the "...can't in multiplayer" thing happen.
C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -dev parameter -game nstr
But it's still not working. What sould I change?
Try this instead:
C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -dev -game nstr
as always....... MORE SCREENIES <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> lol
