On maps like ns_missilecommand_final3 there's an exploit, which allows the commander to build a structure, not only to place it. I've seen it quite often on this map so i assume its well-known. Unfortunatley the comms refused to tell me how they make it.
How did the comms do that? What keys do you have to press or what else do you have to do to build a structure without marines?

Sorry for being kinda rude, but i really can't stand those terribly ugly and implayable maps .
My only guess is , that the map has a very low commander - point of view. If that's the case it could be possible to press use to build structures.
Keto - they are correct, if the commander's view is close enough he can build just like any other marine. This 'exploit' can only be stopped by either patching NS to stop the comm from 'useing' anything or by raising up the comm's view in the map.
It's just my personal opinion that they are compared to all official maps very ugly and don't follow the basic mapping-guidlines at all. Its just 3 hives in one place with TONS of resource nodes on one side and a cc with another huge amount of res nodes on the other side.
Of course there are a lot of great custom maps out there. NS_Nirvana , NS_rampage or NS_europa , just to name a few.
Like I said , its just my opinion and many people dont share it.
I think there is no need to continue this discussion , cause it's all about personal preferences.
