Ken Banks took a job making Quake 4 and no longer has the time to work on ns_nothing.
It's called Mother Hive.

Isnt another mapper taking over the development of nothing, (sorry i can't remmeber his name no disrespect) i think the guy who made eclispe

Yes, lots of things in ns_nothing have mother in them. Mother Interface, some other "mother somethingorother," and "Mother hive"
Don't try and call it mother hive, they will all look at you and stare.. until you go NONAME hive. Then everyone will respond with "ooh, why didn't you tell us?" <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
this is why we back things up...

So true. "Unamed" works just as well too <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Loved that movie.
On a side note.... er, I mean, back on the real topic are no changes being made to ns_nancy then? The obvious and excessive "outside of map" spaces really could use some looking into.
Ah well, if I'm not going to do it myself, I should probably just keep my mouth shut, eh?

Bwah. Look at the playtester brag. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Not all of us played 1.0 before it was released, so we don't know what "mother hive" is. It's nonname until it gets a proper name.
makes so much sense now <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Why is it that the name doesnt sho up anyway? At one point it obviously did <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
However it is possible to decompile maps. Just not very efficient. I think it loses a lot of data in the process.
I used to have the tool for it. It helped out a lot when designing some of my own maps but I wouldnt trust it to fix a public map.

Have to say this...
Loved that film! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> heh
<com chair> I command all you marines to see Donnie Darko! </com chair>
Right <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> heh

That is a sign from Almighty God that he does not want "No Name" to be named. And we shall obey!
Also, and this is rather curious, I've noticed that it was called "Noname" on servers I played on in the US, but always "Unnamed" back in the UK.
"why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> WHAT MOVIE IS THAT FROM?!?!??? i dont wann be left out.... i have greatly gone attached to Noname (US obviously <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->) but i wouldnt trust decompiling...... it doesnt sound like it can be that good <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> maybe we can test it out tho and have a poll to call it "Noname" or "Mother Hive"
And for me, it's always 'mother'. Even when the rest of my team rushes to Mother Interface when I v-com 'Marines rushing Mother Hive!'. And after we lose it, I patiently explain that the name of 'noname' is Mother. Then we go take it back, and kick the Marines out of <b>our</b> Mother. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
ROFL
anyone on our server usually understands what we mean, and if they dont, then they just follow us :o
That's just wrong on so many levels...
