Different/special Tech?

First off, I'd like to say that NS is an awesome game.
I was reading a <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=30&t=34589&st=0' target='_blank'>thread</a> in the beta forum, and it reminded me of an issue I had with Natural Selection.
It would be nice to have tech(s) for the marines and aliens which would require more skill and experience... kind of like an advanced strategy.
Some Examples:
Marine:
-=Special Marine Movement Suit Tech=-
* All marines spawn with a movement suit (allows skulk speed/agility for marines)
* Marines are unable to equip JP's or HA
* Use of HMG's or GL will negate the movement suit ability (i.e. the weapon is so heavy the marine would be slowed like normal).
Notes: This could be used for a team who is going for a quick win and knows how to play. If they are not successful with an early rush, they will be at a disadvantage later (no JP's or HA). A tech like this would probably need to be made available about 2+ minutes after the round start.
Alien:
-=Hive recall ability=-
* All aliens can recall to the original hive instantly
* Loss of the first hive's chamber since the hive recall will be associated to that hive.
* Only two additional chambers would be available to the team for the other hives.
* Recall ability is lost in the event the original hive is destroyed
Note: This could be a good counter ability to a Marine team that is trying to perform an early rush.
Hopefully this post doesn't come across as a knock against the game features. I think the game is excellent in it's current form, and sounds even better with v1.1 coming out. This is only a possibility of adding a variant to the game that could offset the balance for a team that knows what they're doing. In addition, it's always good to keep your enemy guessing what you'll be like when you meet again.

I don't understand the alien part...is this a new chamber?
