Model Idea For The Knife

I just read about the thread about the NS pistol which got a laser aim system mounted on it. So I remembered that it is now possible to make transparent parts in models.

Now my idea: Remember "Deus Ex"? Well imo this "vibro blade" (think that is what it was called) would be a kick4$$ knife replacement:

I dont think its a virbro blade.... its the dragon tooth I think. I think it's called Dragon's Tooth, haven't played Deus Ex in a while.

It's the Dragons Tooth. A combination of self-maintaing nanites that include iron pigments which form the actual blade makes it the sharpest edge on this side of a monofilament.

Anyway, I've honestly got to say that the Tooth is artistically the by far weakest of all DX weapons. Like SSes laser raiper, it's basically yet another lightsaber. Not all that thrilling, if you ask me.

nemesis you're kidding right? the dragon's tooth is the best weapon in dx. you never need ammo and you save so many lockpicks if you get the combat str aug. cuts thru doors like paper. i even kill military bots with it (well only on the vandenburg level where i can hide behind my own bots). and i like the nanite sword idea better than that starwars lightsabre, which by the way, is still not explained and only works in the starwars univierse. if nanotech develops to the level in dx, this might become a reality!

Big Chief.. he's not criticising the weapons merits, just it's design.I also think it's design is pretty weak. They could at least have made it look less like a toy light-up sword <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

I also hated the story that revolved around the dragons tooth sword... it was just too cheesy.
