Electrified Tf Defense

Would this be possible?
IF you built 3 tf's around a door, and electrified them, could you deny the aliens that door until they got ranged attacks? With 3, any sulk should go down pretty quickly, and if the door auto-closed gorges couldnt shoot at it..
Kind of lame, but may be effective

    In 1.1, it will be possible to upgrade a turret factory so it has electricity, causing it to do damage to nearby aliens and making it usable as defense without a turret in sight.

    Or even worse, a wall of cc's with a wall of electrfied turrets + seiges behind it, that would be pretty much impossible to kill, you couldn't build defense chambers to heal you, you couldn't use bile bomb.. and against cc's acid rocket is pretty much useless.. you can even use babblers to take them out.

    A possible solution is for all the mappers to make at least 2 entrances to the marine base, that are far enough apart that a etf in the middle cant effect both

    (etf = electrified tf)

    eeeee... No . Turrets already shoot at aliens and defend themselfes . Being able to electrify them would just make them more hard to destroy .

    Heh...that reminds me of one time I was comm...

    Basically I built two rows of four turrets in Cargo Bay Foyer--aligning them so that not only were the entrances covered, but also the middle and each turret---freakin' impenetrable. We stood up to 6-7 Fades making a determined attack for more than an hour (also thanks to HA, medkits, and HMGs <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ). We then went on to win the game because their Gorge tried to build defense chambers but we killed it; that's when we went and 'removed' their Hives. Heh heh heh...awesome game.
