Counter-mole

Roofles
Counter Hack’s Counter Mole begins tomorrow. In short, they will allow 200 spectators to watch a CS game, and afterwards these spectators will be able to guess who the one player is that is cheating (similar to the TV show). Here’s a little email that details viewing hours:
Counter Mole is starting tomorow. HLTV is setup for 200 spectators and I hope that lots of people will come and watch. There will be many surprises along the way. Visit http://www.counter-hack.net for further updates.
Counter-Mole Starts Sunday June 8
1:00pm - 5:00pm PST (Pacific Standard Time)
4:00pm - 8:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)
9:00pm - 1:00am GMT

I really wish I could force myself to like CS, but after getting capped with 1 single bullet in the head by a glock in every game of every server, it wasn't an easy mod to like. I don't mean to spoil the fun for those of you that like it. Go to that thing. Sounds fun.
Only CS server I ever had fun in was where the admins would ban anyone with a squeeky voice. They also had a jackass meter if you were too much of a jackass you got banned.
I for one LOVE a good game of CS on Redphive. If your ever there my name is either piR^2 or Mr. Mxyzptlk.
Oh yeah, this counter mole thing sounds RAD! I'm definatly gonna check it out. I just love WATCHING CS and seeing awesome plays.
hackers who blatantly cheat are caught every time, but those who use it to play better [these people are in clans, etc] are much harder to catch if they subtle
blah
It's unrealistic.

Still its 10 times easier when you see what they see.

so is ns.

Tell me a game that's realistic
Seriously.
The only thing that's bad about it are the **** players you run into sometimes on pubs.

Err.. you expect unrealistic feature's when you play a "Sci Fi" MOD. And for a MOD that's realistic, DoD.
What are you talking about? That doesn't happen.

And all CS servers have FF on? No.

I guess you haven't tried to move forward while being Prone, because it works.

Hence maps with Objectives.
JediYoshi still gets the Cool Points™ for the picture, though. Homestar Runner rocks.

There is nothing wrong with counterstrike, its just that counterstrike went retail and attracted a bunch of losers to the game.

I never said CS was realistic, btw.
I'll just stop aruging right now anyway.
You really think that a 50 year old bolt action rifle dominated the battlefields of europe, granting the soldier pinpoint accuracy when he even thinks about hesitating his stride.
DoD tries, but it suffers from a kar **** dev team imo.

Exactly. I find it great fun with friends but random pubs are usually very annoying. Not to mention the lag, but then that may be just me...but NS is much more 56k friendly.
honestly I like CS, every so often I will go back and play a few rounds (I wicked with the aug )
However, there are enugh loosers in CS to spoil the fun. Same goes with NS, exept that I have found a few good servers here (I don't have the patience to server hop in CS to find the good ones)
Oh, and it wasn't retail that destroyed the game, it had gone down hill long before that.
oh, and I would like to catch one of those ocunter mle games, should be amuzing

Staying still does not give you pinpoint accuracy, far from it, although it is a big improvement over shooting while moving.
Did you just read "counter-strike" and go all "Flame On!" on us?
This is much more than a game of CS, it's a chance to see just HOW EASY it is to tell a hack from a legit player, in a controled environment, with 200 people watching. I'm guessing there will be a poll of some sort from the observers to see JUST HOW WELL people can detect hacking, and how wrong they can be. This has as much to do with the run of the mill CS game as a staged gorge rush has to do with NS.
You all complain of hackers, and most disturbingly Hawkeye's story, which seems to have NOTHING to do with this event, which details a case of extreme hacking in an obviously embelished story.
Before you go all "Westside! Stay off my turf, dog!" just give this thing a shot. It's obviously NOT your average CS game. It's a great psychological test of spectator wit.
Actually, it did. The K98 was, and still is, one of the most accurate rifles in the world. Most rifles on the field's were Bolt Action.
