For my favorite band
As many of you know, I love the Eels. Love them.

And now, a new album by them, entitled 'Shootenanny', has been released. You can preview it in its whole here.
This particular CD is somewhere between jazz, blues, and pop, and thus one of their 'easier' albums, but still by far above the mainstream. My personal favorites amongst the 13 tracks are 'Rock Hard Times', 'Dirty Girl', and 'Restraining Order Blues'.

I suggest you try it out.

Dream Theater....that's the guys that have Mike Portnoy playing drums right? If so, then they completely rock. I found a drum solo of his one time. 6 MINUTES LONG!!!! By the end of it I had fallen over, twitching, and my jeans were filled with a gooey substance. Completely god-like. Of course, that was before I had discovered the majesty of the Baron Bon Tito, of Aquabats fame (and if anyone mentions any other bands he has been in, I will cut you)

    Eels are wonderful.

"P.S. You Rock My World" is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

    That is all.

Well, I like Chopin. I don't really keep up with modernish groups/bands or solo singers..

wish I could say I'd buy the CD. But ever since I saw that college students were getting sued for mucho money for pirating (which is wrong) music (which everybody has done at one point in their life, except for maybe a few 0-20 year olds), I stopped buying music. Not like they lose much money, I buy 2-8 Music CDs a year, but I will no longer support a bass-ackwards system. Now if only I could bike to everywhere I needed to go, to stop giving money to the evil oil industry :/

Well, I like Chopin, too. As I like classic Jazz, Blues, and also the Eels. Every time has its great artists, and this band is one of ours.

Your choice. I usually buy the CDs directely from the artists (homepages etc.), to give them the maximum of income without of throwing money down the labels throats. Online shops on bandsites are often excluded from the traditional contracts, as are sales from concerts.
