what fate would you choose?
So after watching Tron on DVD for the first time I got to thinking.
What if one day your PC just got fed up with all those improper shut downs, you feeding it viruses all the time etc and one day decided to zap you into a PC game. And the only way for you to get out would be to survive a game for X amout of time.
So the PC sets you up with a pistol a few spare magazines and your choice of a shot gun or some type of Submachine gun . (aka little ammo) and 2 health packs worth of emergincy med.
The evil PC then gives you a choice. Now remember to you it would be like Virtual reality so imagine you are in a really bad dream or something. Example, if a skulk bit you, you would probably lose a leg in real life, and then die of blood loss. Like living in the matrix.
here are the choices.
1. Survive 6 hours in Black Mesas Lambda Core.
2. Survive 4 hours locked in the Spencer Estate from RE.
3. Survive 3 hours stuck in Ns_Hera Station.
4. Survive 4 hours somewhere in the System Shock 2 Labs area.
5. Survive 3 Hours in the Weyland Yutani Corporation research station (with the ALIENS escaped and running loose of couse)
Hmm I think I would take the Black Mesa research station. (Hope i can figure out how to use the long jump in real life though.) Getting face hugged, ripped apart by a monkey, eaten by an Onos, or slowly turned into a zombie doesnt appeal to me. But then again, niether does getting head crabbed, or sucked up by one of those barnacle things either
btw, Gordon doesnt have a "Crowbar" he has a wreaking bar. A crow bar is several feet long and is used for prying open larget crates and stuff.
Either way, has any one ever tried to swing a wreaking bar? That thing weighs a ton. I tried doing the "gordon fast swing" and nearly sprained my wrist and impailed my leg at the same time.

It would be so easy, maby you never noticed those bio-reconstruction modules, that prevent you from truly dieing. Failing that, you could hide in the primary elevator.
Even then knowing cheat codes will help a lot.
Because I'm not a muppet, and if upon finding a A)wooden door whilst holding my B)combat shotgun, I won't mutter "Damn, I need the Knights key" and wander off. I'll apply item B) to item A), and carry on.
Do like newt! Hide in trash =)
As i know the way around, and how to long jump, and where the guns are.
Yes at the start they are average zombies. Then youv got your giant snake, wierd dogs, ravens and likers.
I would do it if I had optional Aimbot and Wallhax!

Their H4X are better than your H4X
Any mission from Theif.
If I could make my own choice, I'd do option 8: Pick Up The Phone Booth and Die for 200 years or until I die or beat it, whichever comes first. Go ahead. Try it.
Of course, if I had a squad of marines against all those aliens, I would own them. You could throw in a predator and I'd waste him too. At least, the AvP 1 guys...never played the second one.
Listening to: damned birds chirping outside

lol I beat that game in one turn, type push phone booth, you win.
That game was so much fun when I first found it a year ago or so... took me quite a while to figure out the solution, and in the meantime, I discovered numerous ways to die.
As for the list given above? Black Mesa's Lamba Core. Because you only said survive 6 hours... not that you had to DO anything. So sit down in a hallway, and relax, secure in the knowledge that all the aliens are either in rooms, or teleport in when you walk to specific locations. Sit tight, and you're all safe. True, 6 hours could get boring, but hey... no worse than a car ride. And I have a longer attention span than that.
No way I'd get into NS. The enemies hunt you down there, and you die a LOT.
I haven't played RE or SS or the others, so I don't know about those. Maybe the "sit in a corner" method would work for some of thsoe as well.

In SS, the AI cant hit switches to open some doors, lifts etc. You just hide in the promary elevator or somewhere the AI cant reach. For entertainment you can toy with your psi powers, listen logs/e-mails, laugh at the AI running into the door.
Because A.) It doesn't scare me B.) I use the pistol anyway (Weee Gun ho!)
Oh and you have a Cyber-Rig
That rules!
Six hours is a long time but I know what to do and I use the pistol almost 24/7 in that game (except for parts like breaking boxes or killing the last boss). Of course, I'd pray that I meet Freeman and make myself invincible to anything he trys to do to me and I'd use telekinetic powers to make him talk. Then I'd kill anything that has a gun, steal it and his ammo and stuff so that would be my primary source of ammo. Anything thats laying around or anything from a dead human with a gun.
Or you could do option 10: Survive 3 hours in MGS2 on European Extreme mode while fighting 6 Harriers at the same time and the Kasatka is 1 hit away from going down. You could either survive or kill them.

Um yeah, probably Number One.
2-Never played RE, I would get pwned by the zombies
3-OH HELL NO. I'm a decent alien player, so I know what havoc you can wreak on solo marines. Without a Comm, you'd be screwed.
4-never played, teh Mahnkees, th3y Hurt!
5-I might do ok on this on, but I'd need my motion tracking, and those guns are LOUD.
Black Mesa you only have to worry about the larger grunts, with the Bee Guns, that and getting electrocuted before you could find a environ Suit. Otherwise you've got the help of Barneys, scientists, etc.
